
Three Fires Group Inc. and The Salvation Army London Centre of Hope Develop Innovative Partnership to Deliver Affordable Housing in Three Fires Territory of Southwestern Ontario
Three Fires Group Inc. is working collaboratively with The Salvation Army London Centre of Hope in developing a mentorship partnership where expertise will be shared to establish life-changing affordable housing on the First Nation territory.
Three Fires Group Inc. will be launching a development initiative of 1,200 affordable and attainable homes across eight municipalities in Southern Ontario over the next 3 years. Working with an alliance of industry partners, the housing initiative will create 500 attainable homes that will target workforce market renters, with 700 units at affordable rates supporting tenants leaving homelessness behind.
“This partnership with The Salvation Army London Centre of Hope is a significant step towards providing much-needed housing support for first nations communities,” said Vince George, Chairman of the board for Three Fires Group Inc. and councilman for Kettle and Stony Point First Nation.
