Backpack and School Supply drive

It’s back to school time and The Salvation Army has been busy handing out 1,000 backpacks to BC students in need. “We’ll have 60 to 100 a day coming in between now and when school starts,” said Major Russ Holland, Director of Vancouver Community and Family Services. Clients who meet the criteria come to the Salvation Army’s Family Support office, at Fraser and Kingsway, to pick up their backpack. We extend a big thank you to our staff, volunteers and sponsors for their support!
