The Man Behind The Salvation Army Uniform (WATCH)

David Kang was born in Seoul, South Korea. His parents died as a result of the Korean war when he was young, and for a short time he lived on the street. Eventually he was taken in by a Salvation Army boy’s home.

In 1973, at age 26, The Salvation Army helped David immigrate to Canada. He soon moved to Toronto and began working as a tailor, making uniforms for The Salvation Army.

We invite you to watch this video and David’s moving story of a life dedicated to doing good work for God.
