Emergency Disaster Services on Display

The Salvation Army Prairie Division’s Emergency Disaster Services team were excited to be a part of this year’s National Indigenous Fire Safety Council’s Safety Conference in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan September 28th to October 1st, 2022. Our participation included a trade show booth and introductory training regarding The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services. We also had the opportunity to demonstrate the capacity that our teams have to support communities and first responders by preparing and serving lunch for all attendees on the final day of the conference. The meal was very much appreciated, but the opportunity to strengthen relationships in the emergency response community was even more valuable. We look forward to working together in the future to be a transforming influence in our communities.
