Overcoming Poverty with Your Support

“I want to say thank you to the people who make this possible.”

Eight-year-old Hamza lives at The Salvation Army’s Shiloh Boys Home in Pakistan. There, he receives shelter, care and education.

“My father struggles with addiction. He is sick and weak and unable to hold a job,” Hamza says. “Currently we have no source of income. I am thankful for this opportunity to stay at Shiloh to receive a good education in a healthy environment. I want to say thank you to the people who make this possible.”

In addition to the safe haven he calls home, donations made to The Salvation Army’s international work cover school fees, uniforms, shoes, school supplies, food and other essentials for Hamza and the other boys. Supporters of The Salvation Army are equipping these students for a better future. Their generosity is giving children the opportunity to receive an education.
