The Salvation Army in Gananoque Reopens Thrift Store

The Salvation Army in Gananoque is welcoming back valued mission partners, donors and shoppers to the newly renovated Thrift Store at 120 Garden Street in Gananoque. The Thrift Store reopened on October 26th, 2022 and offers a wonderful shopping experience for guests every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 to 4 pm.

Gently used donations will be accepted including clothing, shoes, housewares, books, toys, jewelry, collectables and small household goods. Due to the small size of the store furniture, appliances, electronics, sports equipment and other large items cannot be accepted. Food donations cannot be accepted at this time, but everyone is encouraged to donate to The Gananoque Food Bank.  Proceeds from our Thrift Store support local programs and services in Gananoque.

The second phase of the re-opening will include the newly renovated café offering a pay if you can model. The reopening date of the “Manna” café is yet to be determined.

“We would like to thank the community for continuing to support The Salvation Army in Gananoque for over 100 years,” says Major Stephen McNeilly, Salvation Army officer in Brockville who oversees the Thrift Store. “We are excited to be opening our doors again to offer great deals and support our programs and services in Gananoque.”
