Boundless Vancouver Celebrates Renewed Space
The Salvation Army proudly marked the grand reopening of Boundless Vancouver, a cornerstone of community outreach, after a year of significant renovations. Located at 3213 Fraser Street in Vancouver, B.C. the newly transformed space is set to offer enhanced programs and services, reinforcing its mission to be a place of hope and support in the community.
The reopening ceremony, held on Monday, September 16th, was a celebration of the resilience and dedication of Boundless Vancouver in its commitment to serve the community. Over the course of the year-long renovation period, essential services remained operational, ensuring that the community continued to receive support during the upgrades. Now, with a refreshed and expanded space, Boundless Vancouver is better equipped to address the evolving needs of its diverse population.
“We have made many upgrades to our space, including a large commercial kitchen that will be used for many programs. We also offer a Nourishing Hope Marketplace, because everyone deserves to have food that is healthy and appropriate to their needs, as well as a community brunch on Tuesdays. We have new meeting spaces, a study room, and a congregation room,” said Lt. Tamara Randlesome, Corps Officer at Boundless Vancouver. “Boundless Vancouver is for the community, where we have built a space for partnership, support, and fellowship.”
Grand Reopening
A ribbon-cutting ceremony officially marked the opening of the renewed facility, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in Boundless Vancouver’s service to the city. Attendees, including community members, partners, and representatives from The Salvation Army, were offered guided tours of the upgraded facilities. These tours provided a firsthand look at the expanded range of programs now available, aimed at supporting individuals and families in need.
Following the tours, a standing reception allowed community members to connect with one another and engage in discussions about the significance of the newly revamped space.
Boundless Vancouver’s Importance to the Community

Lt. Tamara Randlesome, Corps Officer, spoke at the reopening, “We are now pleased to offer an enhanced environment to better serve our community. Boundless Vancouver is committed to welcoming neighbours into a community where hope thrives.”
