Long Time Volunteer Honoured!

The Ann Davis Transition Society (ADTS) recently celebrated their 26th annual Bread and Roses Celebration at Chartwell Lynnwood Retirement Residence in Chilliwack.
The celebration honours local women who are dedicated to making the community a better place through volunteering. Local non-profit agencies were invited to nominate a volunteer to be celebrated at the event.

Ten women representing eight agencies were presented with a long-stemmed rose and a small loaf of bread; symbols of our common need for sustenance and beauty.Grace Bryant has been volunteering with The Salvation Army in Chilliwack for more than 14 years. Her giving nature and helpful spirit have long encouraged the staff, fellow volunteers and the people who seek the services of The Care and Share Centre.

Congratulations Grace on being named Volunteer of the Year; we are honoured to serve with you.
