Arigatou gozaimasu ( thank you ).

Thank you to those who continue to support the work of The Salvation Army … in particular, a group of students who are their third year of Education Studies from Japan.   These young people are here for a month to learn English as well as to share presentations on Japanese culture to elementary students.

With enthusiasm, they cleaned, packed hampers, sorted recycling, removed waffles from packaging (at the donor’s request) and did an overall fabulous job at The Salvation Army Vancouver Community and Family Services.

They were a high energy group who served with spirit and who really enjoyed practicing their English.

We thank them with great appreciation for all of the work they accomplished!
