It’s not Thanksgiving without Pie

What does The Salvation Army need this Thanksgiving, turkey and coffee are still a hot ticket item but in addition, pie!

Kecia Fossen, from The Salvation Army Harbour Light Vancouver, shares that “people are realizing the need is there.”

“Usually we end up with quite a lot of pies around Christmas because after Thanksgiving there is an influx of pumpkin pies,” she adds.  “But pre-Thanksgiving, we end up having to buy the pies… so any donations of pumpkin pies are always welcome.”
