Annual Strawberry Social Tea Party!

The Salvation Army in Kelowna hosted the longstanding and anticipated Annual Strawberry Social event, welcoming over 150 seniors from local retirement facilities along with The Salvation Army’s Seniors Program.

Musical samplings were provided by The Accordian Band with decadent strawberry tarts created by the Okanagan College’s Culinary School. 

Highlights also included Major Ron Cartmell sharing stories of the work being done by the Army in Kelowna along with Major Toni Cartmell speaking to the successes seen this past year via The Breakthrough Program which works to support single mothers.

A great afternoon of optimistic spirits, sweet treats and story telling was had by all!
