Dignity Project – Victoria A Channel

In a shocking discovery, it’s realized more than 3 million Canadians live below the poverty line; some live on the streets, many others are what’s considered the working poor, while there are those with families and are barely getting by.  Poverty can be seen in many situations, and it is the work of The Salvation Army to restore a sense of dignity to all.

The Dignity Project indicates that roughly thirty-seven-percent of Canadians believe the poor have mostly themselves to blame and it is the hope of The Salvation Army to provide further facts and education in shifting that belief.
