Testimony of a resident of the Montreal Booth Centre

“During this difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic, I would like to take this time to reflect on how lucky I am to be living at the Booth Centre.  Even though I have been confined to the building, I realize that it is for my own well-being and that of my fellow residents and staff members.   After all, we are one big family and what affects one person affects everybody.  The sense that I am living in a safe environment is to me of an utmost importance.  Also, I appreciate the hiring of extra staff to deliver meals to the rooms, to increase cleaning and disinfecting and to take care of all my needs.  I sincerely believe that I am better off living in the Booth Centre than if I was living anywhere else!   Finally, the day will come when I will be able to go out and have somewhat of a normal life. It is all thanks to the Booth Centre and the exceptional care that they have taken of me, my neighbours and their staff to keep the pandemic as much as possible on the outside of our walls.”
