CTV’s Toy Mountain Campaign Puts Gifts Under the Tree for Children in Greater Toronto and Hamilton
Thousands of generous mission partners helped make the 2022 CTV Toy Mountain Campaign a success so children across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area had toys to open on Christmas morning.
During the campaign, over 150,000 toys, stuffed animals, games, books and puzzles were donated, bringing Christmas joy to more than 66,000 children in the region. New, unwrapped toys were collected at malls across the GTHA while businesses, community organizations and individuals contributed financial donations to CTV’s Toy Mountain Campaign for the purchase of toys.
“
The Salvation Army is so grateful to all our mission partners, donors, sponsors, participating malls, businesses and individuals who helped to make the CTV Toy Mountain campaign a huge success in 2022.
“Thank you to The Salvation Army. This has been an incredible campaign. It’s been so much fun the last month,” said CTV’s anchor Lyndsay Morrison during the final CTV Toy Mountain broadcast. “This is a celebration and it’s a big thank you to all of you who have been making a difference in our community.”
