Let’s work together to make a difference. Here are five ways you can help The Salvation Army’s COVID-19 relief efforts in the Maritimes.

    1. Donate to your local food bank

If you are able, consider cleaning out your kitchen cupboards and donating extra non-perishable food items to your local Salvation Army food bank. You can find a location near you here.

    1. Keep thrift store donations at home

Salvation Army thrift stores and donation bins are temporarily closed to ensure the safety of our employees, volunteers and those we serve. If you are spring cleaning, we ask you to keep your thrift store donations at home until our locations reopen.

    1. Make a small donation of funds

Making a donation gives us the flexibility to meet the increasing needs of the community. If you can, donate online here or call 902-455-1201.

    1. Volunteer your time

If you are able, reach out to your local Salvation Army to see if you can volunteer your time. You can find their contact info here or call 902-455-1201.

    1. Share our posts on social media

Last, but not least, a simple way to help is to share our posts on social media. This will help us get the word out about the work we’re doing and ensure those in need are aware of our services.
