harvest for local food banks.

Constellation Brands Canada, as part of their "Nourishing Neighbours" program, will oversee the tending, harvest and delivery of 3 acres of ground crops for the Oliver and Penticton Community Food Banks.

Captains Tim and Miriam Leslie from The Salvation Army Penticton Community Food Bank were there and expressed their amazement at the organization of the crew and at the joyfulness they put into their labour.  This will mean that there will be the basic fresh vegetables in the food bank recipient's hampers this harvest season.
