The Salvation Army in Canada continues to closely monitor the ever changing realities surrounding COVID-19, following all regulations from both federal and provincial governments, as well as Health Canada.
During this time of uncertainty, we are working diligently to provide essential services such as food, shelter and clothing, while taking preventative measures to protect the safety of the people we serve, as well as our officers, employees and volunteers. Their well-being is our top priority.
While the delivery of these services may look a little different, we will continue our mission to shelter, feed and clothe the most vulnerable, based solely on the community needs and our capacity to help.
“Our teams are working tirelessly to take the proper precautionary measures to ensure everyone’s safety while we meet the ever growing needs of our communities,” explains Major Wade Budgell, Divisional Commander. “Our support will continue. We are still The Salvation Army.”
