Honouring Mike and Jenna

This past weekend, The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services team was honoured to support the funeral services celebrating the lives of Paramedics Mike MacKenzie and Jenna Croucher.

Our dedicated volunteers provided a hydration station for the honour guard and first responders, while Salvation Army officers assisted with welcoming attendees and distributing service bulletins. It was a privilege to stand alongside our EMS partners, offering practical support and compassionate service during a time of profound loss.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of Mike and Jenna. Thank you to our incredible EDS volunteers who served with professionalism, dignity, and compassion, reflecting The Salvation Army’s commitment to “Heart to God, Hand to Man.”

It was an honour to serve those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.
