The Big Book Drive … A BIG SUCCESS!

Joseph Choi, Alex Venetis and Steffi Chua of Simon Fraser University Beedie School of Business Project Management successfully organized a book drive to collect books for the Salvation Army – ultimately surpassing the initial goal of 2,000 books with an additional, 9,000 collected for a total of 11,000.

The BIG Book Drive team collected books over three days in both Richmond and Burnaby to benefit The Salvation Army Community and Family Services along with other literacy-related programs.

While being overwhelmed with the outpour of support, The Big Book Drive welcomed all types of books from children’s books to non-fiction literature and textbooks.
