Red River Co-op offers support for Winnipeg Booth Centre
WINNIPEG, MB – We would like to extend our thanks to Vice-President Dale Riddell for presenting a cheque on behalf of Red River Co-operative in the amount of $1,000 to Winnipeg Booth Centre’s Executive Director, Captain Rodney Bungay.
These funds will go towards filling the immediate need of new furnishings for the cafeteria, helping The Salvation Army provide a clean and safe residential environment for people in need in Winnipeg.
Dale graciously accepted the Army’s offer of a tour of the Centre and was able to visit the Anchorage Addiction Program, Residential services accommodations at the Transitional Shelter and Sonrise Village Family Shelter and The Haven offering a guiding light to men living with mental illness.
On behalf of The Salvation Army and the people we serve, thank you, Red River Co-op!
