Stahl Peterbilt Toy Drive Collects Over 800 Toys
Wednesday December 11th, was a joy-filled day here at The Salvation Army in Edmonton. For the seventh year, the staff and customers from Stahl Peterbilt collected toys to donate to our Community & Family Services (CFS) Christmas program. This year, over 800 toys were donated!
The toys are distributed from our CFS warehouse where parents can come in and choose the toys for their kids, are provided wrapping paper and ribbon to wrap them, and put them under the tree for Christmas morning. This is a special and unique process that gives parents the power and dignity to be able to choose what their kids want, to make the best Christmas possible at a tough time of year.
Ed, Paige, and their staff at Stahl Peterbilt have been simply amazing to us here at The Salvation Army. Their generosity will assist many families this Christmas, as we serve about 600 families and 850 children with Christmas hampers and toys a year. This donation will make Christmas possible for hundreds of children in Edmonton.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone at Stahl Peterbilt, their staff and generous customers for helping us Give Hope Today.
