Moose Jaw, SK – In honour of its 125 Anniversary, the Moose Jaw Salvation Army celebrated in style.
Kicking off a full day of events, a free breakfast was served at the community complex Saturday morning.
For those wishing to learn more about the deep history behind the organization, Capt. Gary Reilly, of the Salvation Army, said there was an open house tour.
Entering the Salvation Army Church, those who attended the tour and later the supper, were greeted by a number of displays, memorabilia and historical literature, which gave a visual account of all the Salvation Army has done for Moose Jaw, Canada and the world over the past 125 years.
