Spread the love

Revolution Ontario (revON) will awaken young adults to faith in Jesus while preparing them for next gen leadership in Salvation Army ministries.

revON will function as a live-in community dedicated to discipleship while being mission focused. Team members will live together in community from September to April with a break at the halfway point for Christmas. Participants must be finished high school and be between the ages of 18-29 at the start of this life changing journey.

This unique opportunity will prepare participants on their journey of long-standing faith by connecting them with ministry opportunities within The Salvation Army, gaining practical experience and skills that will build a solid foundation for future leadership.

revON will:

  • Enable and encourage a new generation of Christian leaders to take on tough world issues as part of their faith in Jesus.
  • Deliver a discipleship process, where team members will learn to understand God’s heart for our world through Bible study, mentoring, service, cross-cultural learning, and full participation in a loving Christian community.
  • Provide Christian formation education through a partnership with Booth University College and guest instructors.

At the conclusion of the revON program, team members will be encouraged and supported to utilize their newly honed leadership skills in ministry roles as they progress forward onto their journey to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world.

The form to apply to the revON program is available here.
