This year’s 2013 Golf Classic was a great success! Once again, we enjoyed the greens at Angus Glen where we had 100 golfers golf in our morning round, sponsored by Cooper-Gordon and 112 golfers took on the North course in the afternoon. This year’s proceeds have been donated to The Salvation Army Cedarbrae Before School Breakfast Program and Bloor Central Soccer League, both of which are vital programs in the communities which serve these children.  We were pleased to have Davis Group as our Presenting sponsor, along with Scotiabank as our Lunch Sponsor, Grizzard as our Silent Auction sponsor and Berkim Construction as our dinner sponsor.

Speaking of dinner, Angus Glen put on a great spread featuring their Queen’s buffet that included prime rib, chicken and a supreme pasta station!  We also enjoyed the on course activities that included a chance to win a Hole in One Car, supported by Markville Motors, Hole in One cash of $10,000 sponsored by RBC, and a putting contest. We were also pumped to have the Toronto Argos cheerleaders who helped raise some money towards the soccer league and breakfast program this year!

Once again, we were pleased to have Lance Brown of CTV News – Toronto emcee our evening dinner program. Children of the Cedarbrae and Bloor Central programs joined us and shared what it means to be part of these clubs. We are thrilled to split this year’s Golf Classic proceeds of $30,000 to Cedarbrae and Bloor Central after learning of the impact it will have on the children and within their communities!

Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s tournament! Stay tuned for our 2014 Golf Classic details.
