The room was so beautifully decorated for Dad’s BD. With tablecloth, balloons, and even a specially made sign. Plus, coffee and tea were brought in.
I was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude to arrive with recreation staff putting the final touches on and dad sitting in the middle all ready to go.
We had a wonderful family celebration on a beautiful afternoon – it was a happy occasion for all. Dad enjoyed himself too.

The Charge Nurse’s caring and knowledgeable expertise is a vital part of S.’s well-being from a physical, mental and emotional viewpoint. Her warm manner and her attention to detail are vital to S. feeling safe, secure and taken care of. She encourages S. in her hobbies and truly listens to her for what she wants and needs. If there’s a problem, S. knows that the Charge Nurse will take care of it and will follow up as needed. We are so lucky to have her at the Manor and we are so thankful for her dedication.

Mom has enjoyed her stay with you very much and felt safe, comfortable and very much taken care of in every single aspect.
Even today she told me if I had a few more things to finish today she could stay with you for another day or so-that does speak for itself.
And I cannot thank you enough for that!!!
I hope it has been mutual and has opened a long lasting relationship between you, stuff, residents and my mom.

Words cannot express our gratitude for the wonderful Art Show yesterday in the community room. My mother and I are very grateful and thankful for the Art Show and also the wonderful wishes and cards for my mom’s 90th birthday!
Recreation staff were so helpful to create a terrific event and to include so many residents. We know how hard they worked even before the art show started and we are so impressed with their dedication to create a great experience for everyone. Please share our sincere thanks to them and everyone who helped to provide the wonderful refreshments.
The art show helped my mother to meet her goal of donating her paintings to the residents and we really appreciate the Manor’s help to her realize this goal.

Congratulations Mónica! This will bring so much more information promptly to the caregivers and give them peace of mind. Too late for R. and me but wonderful for every person in the home and future residents.
Thank you for being there so often to hold my hand or listen to my concerns. You gave me all the freedom that I needed to provide R. with a lovely life. Meighen Manor truly became her home and we both rejoiced in that.

Just a note to say Thank You for the wonderful Art Show for my mom. Words cannot express the joy she experienced. Her goal has been to share her paintings on each floor of the Manor and she was thrilled that she might meet that goal! Without a doubt she was encouraged to continue painting and has already started!
Words cannot express our gratitude to J. and A. for helping this art show to happen. We know it takes a lot of time, planning and extra work and that’s on top of J.’s daily busy schedule. He has been slowly encouraging her to paint in her own manner and at her own pace that made this art show so special so he has won our hearts forever.
