The Vancouver Canadians Professional Baseball Club is in the community this Thanksgiving.

Vancouver, British Columbia | October 7, 2015 — The Vancouver Canadians Professional Baseball Club in partnership with Safeway delivered family-sized turkeys as part of the annual ‘Canadians Thanksgiving’ on Wednesday, October 7 at 12:30pm to The Salvation Army Vancouver Community and Family Services.

Canadians front office staff was on-hand, in joining a number of volunteers from Safeway who generously donated 100 family-sized turkeys, 100 cooking trays as well as enviro-friendly bags for those receiving this donation.

“The partnership with the Vancouver Canadians and Safeway gave us the opportunity to reach deep into our community and assist our neighbours this Thanksgiving, in the true spirit of the holiday " shared Patricia Cuff, Divisional Secretary for Public Relations and Development for The Salvation Army in British Columbia.
