Young Girl’s Gifts Become Gift for Others

Emily Arsenault gave out a late, but much appreciated Christmas gift on Tuesday.
The Grade 4 École-sur-mer student from Summerside received some cash over the holidays, but decided she didn’t want to spend it on herself.
Instead, she bought a cartful of groceries and donated it to The Salvation Army’s Food Bank.
“I thought maybe I could give some food to the food bank because some people don’t have money to pay for food, and I do, so I could just help them,” said Emily.
“I knew it would make me feel good inside.”
