Salvation Army Offers Help With Taxes in Cornwall, Ont.
Categories: Newswire
A team of volunteers have set up shop at the Salvation Army to process tax returns.
Already around 400 people have taken advantage of the free service, which opened earlier this month, to properly process their finances.
The Salvation Army is working with the Canada Revenue Agency to ensure its volunteers are accredited and trained to complete the forms.
“We feel this is an important community service to individuals who have low incomes and simple tax solutions,” said Oren Cole, pastor of the church and director of Salvation Army ministries.
