New Glasgow: Members of the local community joined together Tuesday for a flag raising with the Salvation Army to kick off its Red Shield campaign taking place throughout the month of May. Red Shield month draws awareness to the services provided by the Salvation Army through various fund raising efforts, including an event taking place Thursday at the Westville Civic Centre.
