New Thrift Store Opens in Regina

On Saturday June 16th a new Salvation Army Thrift Store opened in New Glencairn, Regina. Hundreds upon hundreds of guests rolled through the store all day long.

The integration into the Regina community was very successful and the opening ceremony was celebrated with several MLA’s and City Councillors, Regina’s former Mayor and Major Joanne and Doug Binner from The Salvation Army.

The event was support by Z99 Regina’s top radio station with an on-site live remote.

At times the line waiting to get into the store and shop was more than 150 people long and throughout the day, the community supported the work of The Salvation Army by spending and amazing $18227.00.
