Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with the processing of incoming goods
· Provide courteous and efficient service to customers
· Completing customer transactions involving cash and debit purchases
· Answering incoming phone calls
· Assist with general cleaning and tidying of the store
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be able to work with a variety of people
- Ability to work within the mandate and Mission Statement of The Salvation Army
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Standard First Aid and/or WMHIS an asset but not required.
Experience:
- Retail experience an asset
PREFERRED SKILLS/CAPABILITIES:
· Capable of frequent twisting, bending, crouching and reaching is required
· Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds or 50 pounds with assistance.
· Good interpersonal/communication skills
· Must be able to work with a variety of people
· Ability to work within the mandate and Mission Statement of The Salvation Army
· Provide a clear Police background check dated within the last 30 days Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:
- Background check consent
- A clear Criminal Record Check
DAYS and HOURS of work:
Position begins approximately July 3, 2023, 35 Hours per week for 8 weeks. Must be able to work some Saturdays. Shifts to be determined by manager. Resumes may be dropped off our at Thrift Store at 4912-52 Street, Innisfail.
