As part of a program to provide students with opportunities to engage in the world around them, Hamilton’s McMaster University students took to the streets.

One student handed out hot chocolate to the first four people she thought might benefit.

Another gave her $5 to the Tim Hortons cashier and asked him to give it to the next family who seemed to need it.

How creative could you be with $5 and an hour of your time?
