AGAT Laboratories Donates $100,000 to Families in Need
Trying to make a difference and give back to Canadian communities, AGAT Laboratories has donated $100,000 to go towards The Canadian Salvation Army this holiday season. President and CEO Mr. John DeSanti chose The Salvation Army because of a first-hand experience. “The efforts of this organization on a Christmas many years ago, left a lasting personal memory in my mind that I have wanted to repay in a substantive way ever since. The Salvation Army’s work in the community I grew up in brought me to a function when I was seven, where many children from our community received gifts so we too, could enjoy Christmas. Their generosity and direct reach to people in need has stayed with me,” said DeSanti, on choosing The Salvation Army.
AGAT Laboratories retains funds yearly to put towards one-time monetary donations during the December holiday season. These donations are made to a public charity and the company encourages its employees nation-wide to contribute amounts of their choice to the same charity. This year’s charity of choice, The Salvation Army, received a further donation from all employees across Canada. With this contribution, AGAT Laboratories and its employees wish to provide hope and assistance to Canadian families in need.
