Jennifer Bell will MC the Soirée Jazz featuring Lorraine Desmarais & Elizabeth Shepherd
The Soirée Jazz is a benefice evening for our women shelter in Montréal, l’Abri d’espoir. The event will take place Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 6 pm at the Lion d’Or, 1676, rue Ontario Est, Montréal.
While Jennifer Bell will be the Master of ceremonies, Lorraine Desmarais and Elizabeth Shepherd will be the musical acts. 
Jennifer Bell is a saxophonist, clarinetist, flautist and conductor Jennifer Bell has performed extensively in Canada and overseas. She is a McGill alumnae and active member of the local jazz community. As leader of the group Streetnix, she has released 2 cds and performed at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal from 1987-2014. Jennifer also leads Altsys Jazz Orchestra, a 12-piece big band specializing in original Canadian music.
Lorraine Desmarais is a pianist and composer, as well as Félix award winning artist.
Elizabeth Shepherd is a jazz vocalist, four-time JUNO nominee.
