Thank You for Your Support
Once again the generosity of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians was expressed through their support of The Salvation Army over the Christmas season. The support shown by members of our communities contributes to the ongoing work of The Salvation Army to promote dignity and hope for all.
The fundraising goal for our annual Christmas Kettle Campaign was $175,000 this year. Our donors surpassed that target by contributing $191,181.75.
The Santa Shuffle, organized in partnership with The Running Room, was held at Octagon Pond Trail in Paradise. With 682 individuals participating the event raised $42,000.
Both of these initiatives contribute to the year-round work of The Salvation Army in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Additionally, The Salvation Army is grateful for the contributions of toys, stuffed animals, food and other goods that were contributed to our Christmas programs over the season. Through these programs the people of Newfoundland and Labrador supported members of their communities who struggle provide an enjoyable Christmas for their families.
We offer our sincere thanks to those who have joined with us to offer dignity and hope in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
