The Halifax Centre of Hope hosted its annual Feast of Christmas community supper last week. A highlight of the Christmas calendar, the Feast offered 300 members of the community a warm Christmas meal heading into the holidays. The event was staffed by a number of volunteers, Salvation Army officers and members of The Salvation Army’s Advisory Board. Divisional commander Major Doug Hefford, pictured above, was also present, handing out meals and speaking to many of the people in attendance.
