Scotian Glen Camp: Music and Gospel Arts Camp recap

This year, approximately 90 young people and more than 30 adults from the Maritimes gathered together at Scotian Glen Camp for eight days of Training – that’s right training!

Under the theme of ENLIST – Basic Training for Life, these children and youth were taught what it means to ENLIST in God’s Army. They were instructed in the basics of holy living based on Colossians 3. The emphasis was on E- End to Self; N-New Life; L-Love; I-Indwell (the Holy Spirit); S-Serve; T-Train.

Through strong and intentional Bible lessons, musical training in brass, guitar, vocal, and worship, as well as the art of drama, the young people of the Maritime Division were challenged to sign up, enlist, march on, be faithful and then train others!

May God help those who attended Music and Gospel Arts Camp 2011 and help put their training into practice as well-equipped soldiers of Jesus Christ.
