Memorial University Campus Enforcement Donates Toys For Christmas
November 17, 2010 – Memorial University Campus Enforcement Officers working together with University Students raised a truck load of toys for The Salvation Army’s Christmas Hampers in the city of St. John’s. NTV Weather Personality, Sharon Snow, was on hand to do the weather on site and joined in the festivities.
Major Donette Percy, Director of Community and Family Services, stated, “The Salvation Army in St. John’s is looking at providing Christmas Hampers for over 1,000 families and the need continues to increase. There will be more smiles on Christmas morning because of donations such as these.”
