The Street Ministry strives to provide material, moral and spiritual aid directly where the most vulnerable people in the city can be found.
Street Ministry

The Street Ministry is active in Montreal several times week in, stopping in some of the most underprivileged neighbourhoods, they distribute food, blankets and clothing to the homeless and others in need.

The Salvation Army mobile canteen visits the following neighbourhoods: 

  • The Phare, in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (3975 Sainte-Catherine Street East) the last two Mondays of the month at 5pm;
  • Place Émilie-Gamelin (Berri-Uqam) of Centre-Sud the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 6pm;
  • Monk/Verdun the second and fourth Wednesday of the month;
  • Église Gospelvie (near Papineau station, 1455 Papineau Street) Fridays at 7pm, intermittent.
