  • Christmas Kettle Campaign launched November 17th at City Hall, and it runs Nov 20 – Dec 24th. Volunteers needed Thursdays & Fridays, 4 – 8 p.m. and Saturdays 12-6 p.m. Shifts are 2 hours each.
  • Toy program is partnered with Northwestel, and for kids up to 12 years old. Toys can be dropped off at Northwestel’s Retail Store until December 9th, and then at our reception desk, Wal-Mart and Canadian Tire up until Christmas Eve. For those registering for toys for children up to 12 years old, you can do so each Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm by coming to the church entrance on the corner of 45th and Franklin. You will be given a pickup time and day when you register. As always, the biggest need is for the 10 to 12 year olds, and infants.

  • Teach English and literacy to newcomers, equipping them for the workforce.
  • Provide aid to new Canadians fleeing persecution and war.
