HDH Architects gives back to Mumford House

SASKATOON, SK – Once again, local architect firm HDH Architects have gone above and beyond with their giving nature.  Fast on the heels of HDH Architects previous “Equip The Kitchen” campaign, the staff decided to focus their fundraising efforts on Mumford House, an emergency shelter in Saskatoon for Women and Children. Starting in October with fundraising lunches and a bake sale they quickly raised $756. With left over funds from the Equip The Kitchen campaign and a generous matching donation by HDH Architects, total funds raised was $1,450.00.  The efforts didn’t stop there, with many trips to Costco, Target, Walmart and other stores; they purchased items on Mumford’s “Wish List”.  HDH then took time to create “Goody Bags” for the Mumford residence as well as many gift bags.

The care and time HDH Architect was substantial and will not go unnoticed.  The day a resident walks through the door at Mumford in crisis with nothing but the clothes on their backs, HDH Architects will help provide a strong sense of comfort and support with the items they have donated to residents in need.
