No Gift Is Too Small
SASKATOON, SK – No gift is too small and that was proven this week at The Salvation Army Community Centre. On Tuesday August 20th the Community Centre received a very thoughtful donation from The International Women of Saskatoon (IWS). Every summer IWS likes to give back to the community. This year the children involved in the TweensOnGuard program decided to hold a bake sale Friday August 2nd. The enthusiastic philanthropists raised $102.75 to support The Salvation Army Mumford House, a safe, short-term emergency accommodation for women and children.
Thirteen proud kids visited The Salvation Army Community Center to present their donation to Caroleen Wright, manager of Mumford House. As well, IWL extended the donation by also donating a large box of food for the Community Centre.

“This is a wonderful donation for Mumford House, any dollar amount helps. This will help us purchase personal care items for residence of the house such as shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes and lotion, items most people have easy access to” Caroleen Wright.
