THE SALVATION ARMY GOLF CLASSIC IN SASKATOON A BIG SUCCESS
Saskatoon, SK –The Salvation Army can’t emphasize enough how much it appreciates the support of all donors no matter how big or small the amount is.
In Saskatoon, The Salvation Army is expressing it’s gratitude for all of those who went the extra mile to make The Salvation Army Golf Classic another major success.
The tournament, July 13th at The Willows Golf and Country Club, raised an incredible total of $110,000. That includes a generous $75,000 donation from Supreme Steel.
This huge gift will be used for the life changing programs that bring help and hope to marginalized and overlooked people in Saskatoon.
Golfers were treated to a BBQ and provided an opportunity to win prizes in various course and hole competitions.
Salvation Army staff deserves a big round of applause as well. Many from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba were on-hand to provide services and to answer questions concerning the life changing work of The Salvation Army.
