The Salvation Army Prairie Division would like to say Thank You to Hon. Kelvin Goertzen, Minister of Education & Training & Government House Leader, for taking the time to pose for this photo. Lt. Brian Dueck and Program Supervisor, Mandy Marsland, received the funding notification letter for The Salvation Army’s Work Readiness Program (WKRP) this week.

The Salvation Army WKRP program is a free life skills and job search skills program that has been running since 1997 out of the Weetamah building at 324 Logan Ave in downtown Winnipeg. Weetamah offers job search assistance in the process of preparing and starting one’s job hunt.

In conjunction with The Salvation Army, the funding from the Province of Manitoba assists us in providing these valuable services to Winnipeggers.
