Hosted by the  Kenora radio station 89.5 The Lake FM, the community of Kenora has supported The Salvation Army's Annual Miracle Marathon for 25 years. Kenora Standard Insurance opened up their office space and with the help of the radio station invited: business men & women, city counsellors, Kenora Mayor Dave Canfield (above left), community groups, families and individuals from the community to come in and donate non-perishable foods, toys or finances (approximately $19 000 was raised) which will be used for the upcoming 2015 Christmas campaign.

The Marathon coincides with the Festival of Lights evening Santa Claus parade, The Salvation Army led the parade and collected non-perishable food or toys while the parade wound through the streets of Kenora.

Business Manager Sandra Poole (above right) has been involved in the last 9 Miracle Marathons and is continually humbled by the generosity of the people of Kenora.
