Saskatoon, SK – Every child should have the opportunity to experience summer camp. Unfortunately, many families can’t afford to send their children.

On the prairies, The Salvation Army offers a solution to meet those needs: Located 15km south of Saskatoon, Beaver Creek Camp is nestled in 100 acres of beautifully secluded woods, creek, valley and meadow just outside of Saskatoon. This year round camping facility is used in the summer to provide hundreds of youth with an opportunity for some time away from the heart of the city, promoting the spiritual growth and awareness of God’s love through the warmth of Christian fellowship in the beauty of His creation.

With the start of summer here, you can give a child impacted by poverty something exciting to look forward to. This Salvation Army camp provides a reprieve from the daily worries of everyday life. Our campers eat nutritious meals, engage in fun activities such as swimming and crafts, and participate in team-building exercises that develop their self-esteem and social skills.

For over 115 years, The Salvation Army has provided camping programs for children in need. Today, in Canada, more than 4,500 children attend Salvation Army sleep-away and day camps each summer.
