IMAX Special Presentation In Support of Salvation Army EDS

    Winnipeg, MB – On Wednesday, October 5th movie goers will be treated to an amazing 3D experience at IMAX Winnipeg during its premier screening of the movie Tornado Alley 3D.  Join Storm Chasers star Sean Casey and the researchers of VORTEX 2, the most ambitious effort ever made to understand the origins and evolution of tornadoes on this heart-pounding science adventure!

    Proceeds, in part, from this premier screening will go to support The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services.  Tickets are $15.oo and include popcorn, pop and pizza (provided by Boston Pizza).  Door prizes are also available to be won.  For an additional $5.00 you can experience the awesome power of 70 mph winds in a hurricane simulator!  While at the event, audience members will have an opportunity to learn a little more about what The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services does in responding to disasters such as flooding, fire, storms, etc.
