Winnipeg, MB – Canada Post employees are currently striking. The rotating strikes began at midnight, Thursday in Winnipeg, Manitoba and will see more postal workers walk out in other locations. Services will be disrupted, but someone who is in critical need can’t wait until a settlement is reached.

With this in mind, we would ask those who support The Salvation Army to please make your donations by one of the following two methods, 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

    1. TELEPHONE – Call 1.800.SAL.ARMY (1.800.725.2769). You will receive an official electronic receipt via email.
    2. WEBSITE – Visit www.SalvationArmy.ca. You will receive an official electronic receipt via email.

Please do not put your donation in the mail as it may be tied up for an unknown period of time until the dispute is worked out. The above methods will allow The Salvation Army to make immediate use of your donation to fund programs in your community and throughout the Prairie region.
