Swift Current, SK —  The Salvation Army offered disaster training in Swift Current on Saturday April 16th.

About 50 people were trained in preparing for disaster; Emotional and Spiritual Care; and Disaster Food Service: Safe Food Handling and Delivery in a Disaster.

The courses were all taught by experienced, qualified instructors and participants will be awarded certification in that area.

They will also have an opportunity to add their names to both a local and an international call-out list so they can be called upon to assist in Emergencies.

The Salvation Army thanks all participants for taking part in this worthy cause.
