The “Prairie” Division

On July 3, 2009 The Salvation Army in NW Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan were amalgamated together under one regional office (Division) based in Winnipeg MB. 

From Kenora & Fort Frances ON in the East to Swift Current SK in the West, from Estevan SK in the south to Thompson Mb in the North and all parts in between, this new division is vast in size but linked with the common purpose of sharing the love of Christ,  meeting human needs while being a transforming influence in the communities in which we serve.

This newly formed  “Prairie Division” will give oversight and direction within this region of the country under the leadership of our newly appointed Divisional Commander Major Junior Hynes and our newly appointed Area Commander Major Verna Hynes.
